Relax and unwind in beautiful Launceston in Tasmania Australia

Located in the beautiful Tamar Valley, Launceston occupies a space in northern Tasmania. Among the oldest cities in the continent, this picturesque town is the gateway to the wine region of the area and its cool climate vineyards. Surrounded by high mountains and mountainous areas, the temperate climate invites those who enjoy spending time outdoors.

Residents enjoy four distinct seasons and usually bear higher temperatures during the months of January and February. Cool winters often bring fog, because of the tranquility. July is normally the coldest time of year.

Explore the many attractions is simple because the city is so compact. There Launceston accommodation options for all budgets. Just follow the boardwalk from the port to the cultural and Cataract Gorge, a popular urban reserve. Many of the old workshops became the form and contain impressive collections of artifacts from Tasmania and exhibitions. Art exhibitions can be found at the nearby Royal Park, the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery.

People who appreciate good architecture is to spend some time in the Central District Business to admire the numerous examples of buildings of Georgian and Victorian walk from the 19th century. Located in the heart of Launceston's City Park with Albert Hall and the exhibition of the monkey, which is home to several macaque Japanese.

Launceston is the perfect base for taking in the views of northern Tasmania. With easy access to regional wineries, fine restaurants, beautiful scenery and attractions, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
