how diagonose my dryer an amana lea 90aw, it will not stay runing.?

Please excuse the dumb suggestion, but check the lint trap and make sure it is clean. Secondly, check the tube leading away from the back of the dryer to make sure there are no obstructions. Some units have a back-flow pressure sensative sensor that will shut a unit down if it is not exhausting freely.
Next thing is to check the little micro switch around the door. It will either be located in the door, or in the body of the machine, around the door opening. Its a little recessed area that will have a prong of some sort that sticks into it when the door closes. If the prong is bent, missing or the switch is worn to the point of not making good contact, that could cause it to shut down.
Another thing to try is changing your normal settings, and see if the unit works that way. Sometimes wear occurs in settings that are used repeatedly, such that they will only make contact intermittently.
