Everything would be nice, apart from Twilight and something similar to it … -.- 19. The butterfly tattoo – Phillip Pullman

I read a book Green Darkness by Anya Seton right now. This is historical fiction, but with a twist, as it begins and ends in 1968, but the majority of the novel takes place from 1552 to 1559. A chain of events forces the protagonist to reconsider his past life during the Tudor period. This is done to find out what was wrong, so perhaps something can be done / changed to save his present self. Apparently, something terrible happened. This is very mysterious and unique, and the author paints a vivid picture of the day, without distancing the reader. I know nothing about the Tudor period, so that was a pleasant surprise. A good book to date. From years of prologue, it is impossible not to be curious.
